Skilled Workforce and International Mobility
ThAEP sees European mobility and vocational education not only as tools for international exchange of experience, but increasingly as a strategic contribution to securing skilled workers in Thuringia.
What we specifically deliver
- Organising international vocational mobilities and qualified internships
- Supporting participants in their professional development
- Assisting the transition into training and employment
- Advising on the recognition of foreign vocational qualifications
- Supporting refugees and migrants with internships, employment and recognition of their professional qualifications
Connecting mobility with skills needs
In particular, combining Erasmus+ mobility, vocational qualification, recognition of foreign qualifications, and the concrete skills needs of Thuringian employers makes it possible to link international mobility with long-term career prospects in Thuringia.
A long-standing partnership with Ukraine
Our long-standing cooperation with Ukraine holds particular importance within our international network. ThAEP has established contacts there with vocational and higher education institutions, regional authorities, public institutions and companies. These partnerships form an important basis for joint activities in vocational education, Erasmus+ mobility, securing skilled workers, and European project development — and make it possible to connect international mobility at an early stage with the concrete qualification and skills needs of Thuringian companies.
