MEDIC

MEDIC was a strategic partnership in medical education, focused on innovative educational content and stronger labour-market relevance. Against the backdrop of an ageing population and rising care needs across Europe, the project developed a competence profile for the "4.0 nurse" – covering digitisation, robotics, telecare/telenursing and environmental protection in the care process – and compared it with the European standard profile (HCEU matrix). This resulted in modern, practice-oriented learning formats (webinars, self-learning modules, role-play, gamification) as well as training curricula for trainers, better preparing learners for the demands of Nursing 4.0 and making the profession more attractive to young people.
