MAPA

MAPA (Modern Labour Market and Nursing Education Exchange) promoted the transnational exchange of knowledge, experience and best-practice examples on practice-oriented, labour-market-relevant training content in nursing. The focus was on curricula for elderly-care and general nursing professions in Germany, nursing assistant professions in Austria, and nursing education in Poland – set against the backdrop of ongoing nursing care reforms in all three countries. By comparing the status quo and discussing the transferability of successful approaches, the project contributed to a future-proof, Europe-wide coordinated approach to nursing education.
