COOPACTION

COOPACTION (COOperation in Policy making to Augment Co-developed Territorial Impact of social services InnOvatioN) develops integrated solutions with partners from Poland, Italy, Slovenia and Germany to tackle two challenges facing peripheral regions at once: rising care needs among older people and scarce opportunities for young people. Through a bottom-up, multi-level governance process, the project connects policymakers, social enterprises and communities, tests pilot actions in elderly care and youth work, and gathers ideas via an AI-based participation platform. The results feed into a shared territorial strategy that scales successful models to other regions. Within the project, ThAEP supports the City Administration of Roßleben-Wiehe with project management.
